A Comparison Of Various Grooveboxes

In this video, I wanted to discuss the grooveboxes I own, since there are a variety available that all have their own particular quirks. I'll cover Teenage Engineering's Pocket Operators, the Yamaha QY-70, the Korg Volca Sample 2, the Elektron Digitone, and the Synthstrom Deluge. While I might recommend some of the devices featured in the video, please don't buy something solely on my recommendation. The best way to determine if a piece of music gear is right for you is by hearing opinions from multiple people, and, if possible, trying it out for yourself. Please let me know if you have any questions about the grooveboxes featured in this video, and thank you so much for watching!

Subscribed.

I have Circuit, Digitakt, and Digitone Keys and now waiting for the Deluge to arrive.

I decided to go for it because the idea behind the Deluge is to provide the user the least amount of artificial limits - unlike the Elektron gear that, for instance, lack the song mode (which can be hacked with program chances and midi loop-back).

Anyway. I like your content. I'm certain that your channel will get a lot more subscribers in no time.

Cheers!

I think major point most of reviews skip is the difference between jam-dance_set and actual dawless song writing. As a person from song writing background, I find that this a big miss. Glad that you captured it with this video.
And yeah- still waiting that best ever Casio synth video)
