No, it is not about leverage. It is about addressing all the 3 root causes that created this situation. The NATO enlargement drive, the Russian population of Ukraine and their rights and the broader security framework for Eastern Europe. Dismantling NATO (which really has a zero purpose) would be of great help, and in fact is necessary, though not fully sufficient. Peace is not that hard to achieve, when we all start to listen to each other, and stop the false propaganda (of the West). And ultimately it is just between Russia and the US. Having said that, for now, Rubio's remarks are promising.

Mr. Rubio, have you ever been inside the borders of Ukraine? Have you been to Kyiv? If you have, when? I'm in Ukraine right now. I've been to Ukraine five times since the war started and once to Poland to help refugees and buy generators. I have spent $6000 of my own money to help Ukrainians this trip, because I am in Ukraine as I write this comment. I can tell by listening to your words in this clip, you don't know what you are talking about. You have never understood from what you say what Ukraine is about and what they stand for and the reason why soldiers fight and die. My country of America is letting me down by not fighting for what must be and what is needed.
