Planting Miscanthus for Food Plot Screening #shorts

I stopped by Arkansas State University, where I formerly worked, and acquired some miscanthus rhizomes mixed with switchgrass to plant as food plot screening on my property in the Ozarks. One of my friends is a faculty member and administrator in the College of Agriculture and he gave these to me. I planted about 15 clumps in three staggering rows to block the view of our foodplot from an old driveway. I also planted 6 clumps at the base of our nearby elevated deer stand. Hopefully, in a few years they will grow, fill in, and do a good job screening our food plot - and our deer blind. #shorts

Natives would be better but doing something is usually better than doing nothing when it comes to habitat maintenance
