A theorist expressing himself through piano. Notice the item removal with the left hand but that brain spoke through the right hand. A supreme talent. Beautiful. Wonderful.
At one point I said “oh shit” because he didn’t go where a conventional player would go. By the end he left me deeply moved. His freshness reminds me of the bright freshness Chick Corea could bring forth.
