I've talked to Dark Order/Super Smash Bros. A bit over the years and it's been wonderful to see them both on my TV. It's a shame Grayson is now gone, very talented guy. Hopefully, I'll catch him at a NY show

So it goes. AEW has such a stacked roster talent wise. Honestly these situations are inevitable. I respect Grayson for betting on himself. Go out and make every company understand you're worth the money. Dude had had 3 years to build his profile so he'll be good to go. Also as guys as talented as Grayson leave major companies it only boosts the talent pool of the indies.

This is unfortunately the side effect of AEW becoming a medium-sized pond. When they first started, they had only a few main stars and a bunch of small timers who hadn't been recruited by WWE. Then the WWE releases started, and we got a steady influx of NXT/WWE stars, but especially with the triple whammy of Punk, Danielson, and Cole.

AEW has since sort of evolved into its next stage, and a lot of the originals who haven't made enough waves for one reason or another are just gonna get cut simply because AEW doesn't need them anymore.

It's just going to suck not seeing Stu Grayson in AEW anymore, I wish him all the best. I always wanted to see him have a bit if a singles run in AEW, but as long as he was in the Dark Order unfortunately I never actually expected it to happen.
