Kawasaki VN900 top speed

Top speed for a stock Kawasaki VN900 35kW.

I've had my 2007 LT to 110 mph before (177 km/h), bout all it would do. Scootworks front pulley, gutted muffler portion of the stock pipes leaving the catalytic portion up front, Bulley Power controller, Gerneral Alitimax 195-65/R15 Car tire on the rear. In this configuration the speedo actually reports correctly. Stock in Amercia the Speedo is off by 10%. When it was just broken in I took it up to 120 on the speedo, that was only 108mph. Gets up to 105 in 4th gear, quickest way to get over a ton, but then you need the 5th to eeak out the rest. If they put a 6th gear in it they would only slice down from the final ratio, there's not much more power without spending money and a gear box isn't where you'd find it PLUS it's a cheap cruiser not a crotch rocket Get yourself something with the suspension and brakes designed to handle higher speeds. And wear gear, all of it. You'll end up like that dead Russian chick that no longer posts her hotness on Instagram, cuzz she ain't that pretty anymore. Left a damn kid without a parent too.

I got mine last year, Its surely missing the 6th gear. Max I have gone is 100mph on mine but it sounds like the engine gonna blow into pieces. Its slow for a 900 cc but its so comfortable to cruise around town.

It’s a 650 lbs lightweight cruiser with no 6th gear and 903cc. That answers the question without tuning on the key.

Max I've done is 140. Beyond it feels like engine will explode.
The easy fix was to put 6th gear

Buy a magna if you want more kick the vulcan is pure bliss to ride no rush .

I do that with my Vulcan 650 my top speed so far was 175km ... I didn't want to push it any more.

How does this feel at about 75mph on the fwy and would you recommend this bike for a beginner? I'm looking at either the Vulcan S, Vulcan 800, or a Vulcan 900 custom. Any opinions appreciated.

It is a little bit slow. Once i tried my ‘07 classic what it knows and 180km/h was the end on a slight uphill speed up from 60km/h. But yeah how you said it is not about the speeding more for feeling and cruising on the back roads.

my 95 800 vulcan does 180 with a 5 why is that so slow being a 900????

Sua moto deve estar com algum problema. 160 km/h é normal na minha moto. Tenho uma VN900 Classic Lt 2012. Já alcancei 180 km/h sem muito esforço.

that's a stock?? mine (2014 model) will shake like a tree as soon as I hit 120km/h and the mirror becomes useless
