No Potatoes, Why?(Experiment Failed Successfully, Grow More Potatoes Instead!)

Well, this was not how i intended this experiment to turn out... 😂 Originally intended to show anyone who is struggle to grow potatoes why they might be failing, i tried high nitrogen feed & reduced watering, and well they still turned out pretty good 😂 I think what you can take out of this is, as long as you're watering your potatoes plants regularly and/or still supplying P/K(Potassium & Phosphorus) even on top of a high nitrogen feed, you'll get a harvest no matter what! 💪🥔👍

I will be doing this experiment again, cause i still gotta figure out how some ppl still end up getting a small yield or no yield at all, of course i have my 'How To Grow Potatoes!' video & there's tons more how to grow potatoes videos on YT, but sometimes it's a little something specific that someone is doing that might be ruining the yield 🤔 You could be following every instruction from a how to grow potatoes video, but you just ended up placing the plant with 80% shade during the daytime 🤷

But anyway, i hope you can use this video to help increase your yield instead 😂🥔 I definitely learnt they're fine with a supply of nitrogen even after they've matured/flowered! 🙂

I think the size of the potatoes corresponds to how much starch the plant is able to produce, which is dependent on how much healthy leaves it has.
The nitrogen promoting strong leaf growth meant it was able to produce more starch, thus more overall potatoes.

Very interesting! Maybe that should be the new baseline for fertilizer ratios for potatoes? I wonder how much you could push the nitrogen in that kind of setup. That was one healthy plant!
