I am so glad you feel the need to remind us each and every single time that it's “Command on the Mac”.  Because I'm sure there is one Mac user out there cool will forget and not be happy with you.

I knew this but had forgotten how flexible you can be.  Thanks!

Great vid as usual! While being able to adjust Structure/Content (even after the fact) is a great feature, I must admit I've been struggling with its predictability ever since it was introduced. It involves a greater amount of trial and error, I mean, I know the theory but it's always hit and miss for me, kind of like the "diffusion" parameter on the healing brush. Also, I find that using different scales on each parameter (1-7 vs 0-10) adds to the confusion. There probably is a good reason for that, but I find it annoying. Sorry, I digress - as I was saying, great tutorial and very well explained! Congrats.

This is a new trick to me. I suspect it will make work easier. Many thanks and keep up the great work.

Excellent tutorial. You could just copy it from the right side of the lamp so it would not have a shadow of the lamp.

I have tried in the past to use the Patch tool on a separate layer [non-destructively] but the information I received was that you had to use the Patch tool on a layer with pixels. When I tried in the past, I received an error and then remembered this restriction. Is the restriction still applicable with other than Content Aware? This is a real bonus, at least for me.

It would be helpful to state which version(s) of PS this works. I use CS5 and there does not appear to be a Content-Aware choice in the Patch: menu, only Source or Destination.
