That 3D printed A-Pillar is very clever in terms of safety, not only does it offer the driver a benefit in improved forward visibility but any lattice type structure is inherently stronger than a conventional substrate.
I think that is also has an appealing aesthetic.

At 4:05, I can see 3 disadvantages with the “coach doors”.
1. When the car is in a parking lot or garage with cars on each side, and all the doors open fully, they might scratch the car next to it. Hopefully the doors have sensors to detect cars next to it to prevent scratching.
2. Again, let say the car is in a parking lot or garage with cars on each side. The driver has to be on the side of the car (in the middle) to get in. Otherwise, you can’t get in, because, again, there are cars on each side of the Lincoln and the doors open from the center. Think about it! The path would be blocked if you’re coming from the front or back of the car. What’s more stressful is if the driver has more than one passenger, they have to get the Lincoln out of the parking lot and open the doors (again) just to let the passengers in.
3. What if it’s only the driver getting in and out of the Lincoln? Is it necessary for all the doors to open? Hopefully there’s a feature to let one door open at a time, and not just all at once.
Lastly, I noticed a safety issue. I don’t know about previous futuristic cars portrayed on this channel, but this car does not have seatbelts. If futuristic cars are removing safety features, I’m not looking forward to it.

I love your videos. I find real technological gold to marvel at. The A, B, and C pillars design is perfect for large offroaders, if the strength is up to snuff with chromoly tube. So many questions!

Some cool features, the see through pillars, the lighting, the tail gate seat....but I don't think those doors will ever make it because you'd never fit in a standard parking space which is about 8 feet wide and the clear pedals are probably a safety issue and did I miss the cup holders?

Some really innovative ideas! I love how much light and visibility you have and the laptop charger case is supercool (though I'd rather it fit into the interior compartment somewhere instead of the door). The 3D-printed pillars are fabulous...even better if you could custom print your initials or zodiac sign or lucky number, etc into the pattern.😊
