I’ve had this issue all my life, I had a class 3 malocclusion that was corrected with surgery in 2004, the pain wasn’t as bad before the surgery but after it’s excruciating. It doesn’t happen every day, it mainly happens after not eating or drinking for a while and then either eating or drinking something sweet or salty.
