Do you want to land without your gyro going crazy? Bouncing or even sometimes just flat out going berserk? With airmode on we can cut throttle and do acrobatic tricks in the air without losing control, we can arm our quad and instantly hear a bad prop, motor, esc problem on the ground before it costs us a huge crash. Pretty cool stuff. The down side is the gyro and pid loop is active and if our landing isn't perfect, (no tall grass, no debris, and completely level along with a quick disarm) we take the chance of it trying to correct and doing bad things.
This little modification let's us arm up with a 3 way switch into a closed loop idle at zero throttle. And still go into fully armed mode with air mode on to fly!
