I tried using this for a job site and the auto-merge tool was terrible. It really depends on your technique, the drawback is you don't know what you have until after you leave the job site. Luckily i had laser measurements to fall back on.

What I'm looking for is something to create floor plans quickly. The lidar on the iphone is very accurate, which is amazing in itself but the SiteScape software is lacking. You're left with a point cloud of the job site, nothing useful to send to the client. Even this video shows how you have to massage the segments together, because auto-merge will not work 100% of the time. Also notice how the rooms he scanned didn't have any doors. Doors can mess up your scan. all this for the low low price of $40/month....

Hi there! is it possible to merge a SiteScape scan with a scan made with a Faro Focus in the Scene software? Background: capturing the same location but using SiteScape for areas you are not able to reach with a terrestrial scanner.
