Thank you, dear sir for your wisdom. I haven’t cried in a long time but when you shared that Bible verse (and I’m not even a religious person) I broke down and sobbed. I remember saying that Bible verse to my ex husband a few years back as a way to convince and beg for love and respect. I experienced extreme verbal abuse and the control that comes along with verbal abuse in my marriage. I will never ever beg anyone to love me again and really what I begged for and tried to convince him of was, to give me the bare minimum. I’m okay and comfortable staying single forever. I love my alone time and I find peace in my own company. My small family, small tribe of friends and my dogs are enough. I’ll try to keep my heart open just in case, however this seems rare and that is sad and unfortunate. What you speak of is rare. You are a unicorn. It’s nice to see that there are unicorns though. So thank you. 🙏🏻
