Still remember when the 3 letter usernames ran out and it was all over the internet, feels like yesterday.

Imagine if we ran out of usernames on roblox, we can no longer sign up I guess...

For each character position (minimum of 3 characters and maximum of 20 characters), there are 26 letters (A-Z) in both uppercase and lowercase, 10 numbers (0-9), and 1 underscore, totaling 37 possible characters.

Now, let's calculate the number of possible usernames for each position from 3 characters to 20 characters:

Roblox will probably never run out of usenames unless bots take over or something. And if we ever run out of them, Roblox will be forced to lower their restrictions on Usernames or Raise the most characters to 40 or something

I honestly don’t care, I mostly like having my username understandable than being gibberish that I’ll forget in 10 minutes, and definitely since it’s rare now the chances of getting hacked/beamed or stolen are very high.

I was waiting for 5xyy5 to become rare because it was a really awesome username, and now its going to be rare soon!! I was sad that 4 letter usernames were taken so I made a few 5 letter usernames, and that one was the best one I have

You can still get 5 letter usernames, it's just really hard since you have to wait for a certain word to get uncensored so you can make one with that word in it

This is just insane I never thought about them running out but yeah um I’m glad I made several alts

in my opinion roblox should erase terminated accounts COMPLETELY and let those usernames be taken so that there are still accounts that can sign up instead of just using up space when these terminated accounts are offline and cant even be used

My 2nd acc had a 5 letter user and my alt has a 4 letter, both made in 2019 (2nd acc had a name change) and honestly i feel honored to have both

damn, i used to think 6 letter user names are pretty rare as well.
