Metroid Prime 4 Revealed!!!

Показать описание
Why is everyone all of a sudden freaking out about Metroid Prime 4? Well, the game was originally announced at E3 in 2017 via a teaser trailer that showed pretty much nothing but the number 4 floating through space. Little did we know, that was all we’d see about the game for over 7 years.
The reason everyone is so excited now is that Nintendo closed out their recent Direct with the first real trailer for the game, and it looks fantastic. In fact, it looks so good that many people are predicting that this game may end up being a cross-generation game that will also serve as a launch title for the Switch 2.
But the reason this game has taken so long to develop is that the initial work on the game, which was done by Bandai Namco, was actually scrapped a few years into development. Nintendo apparently wasn’t happy with the way the game was shaping up. So, in 2019 the game was handed over to Retro Studios, where they completely restarted the project.
But, that was sort of good news, in a way, because the previous Metroid prime games were also developed by Retro. So, it’s kind of like the game went back home. And it seems like it’s paid off, because this trailer is fantastic. I love that it actually shows gameplay, and isn’t just cinematics and CGI.
We still have a bit of time to wait, though, before we can actually play this game. All Nintendo has revealed is that Metroid Prime 4 will come out some time in 2025.
