It looks good behind a visor. That's not a complaint it's probably just what their goal is for the moments we see it underneath the visor or lit up occasionally on the visor

I think personally the best case scenario would be a mixture of both. I like the more realistic approach but it's missing some core features that made Samus look like Samus. Like her bangs, her mole, her vibrant blue eyes, etc. It would be weird if they suddenly went back to her old design after her modern design for so long. Like at first she didn't have a beauty mark, then did, but then back to didn't? It would be really inconsistent for no reason.

tl;dr My problem isn't that her face model is realistic, on the contrary, I like it. It's that it doesn't look like samus aside from her blond hair and pony tail. It looks too boring imo.

Other M will always have my favorite Samus design. The game’s not great, but damn she looks so cool/beautiful in the game. I always loved that! :)

I'm wagering they won't. The Samus we have had after Prime has been the Fusion Samus since and I'm not expecting that to change really. I don't think we'll get the more hyper realistic Samus design back. Wasn't she only in Prime because Prime 2 and onwards used the one after Fusion since? It's been some time since I've played them.

Nah. They were just being faithful to the original game. She’ll look like a slightly more realistic variant of what we see in Smash Ultimate. Much like how in Prime 3 she looked like herself from Brawl. Though what I would want is how she looks in the unlockable art from Dread. That’s the best she’s ever looked.
