there are misses in this run - of course - since 2 player mode needs a very good combination of tactics & strategies to make it through safely X)

Wow! This game is so underrated! The developers made sure that at 7:05 part the ships movements was saved to play at 1:06:35 ! Granted that at the beginning there could be no way that they would know how top part was going to play but still... this blew my mind off!

I know this is an old video now, but I want to say that it's awesome to see a Gradius video with a brother and his sister playing together.

I beat this with my dad as a kid. Watching it now, it's utterly insane that I was ever able to beat this game. It's not the sorta game I grew up with. The closest thing would have been 1942, but that was still much less intense than this. The future time warp thing always stuck with me. I didn't realize that it was going to happen like that and the way it memorized exactly how you played and replayed it before your eyes was utterly brilliant. What a special game.

Damn good run. When I saw you two use interlocking fire to take out those two carriers and stop incoming fighters at 1:12, I knew I was watching a true team at work. That's how it's done.

it's a real disappointment if people knew & ignored one of the most important things in this game which is co-op :)
