I don't know if the repubblican party may be fascist, but as an Italian who have studied the twenty years of fascism we had here, i can tell that many things I'm seeing in these days gave me goosebumps. In my opinion what happened Wednesday wanted to be like la marcia su Roma ("the march on Rome", you can find old pictures and see the similarities), when mussolini and his party took the power in the capital. Luckly you are having a very different outcome.
