Paul always struggles to give Vinnie Vincent a good word. Vinnie came into the band when they were at the lowest point, he helped Kiss by his gifted songwriting and playing. Vinnie was never trying to be a 'fake Ace' and for that the real fans respected him.

Sounds like neither Paul nor Gene tried to help Bill to overcome the drug addiction, otherwise Paul probably would have mentioned that. If Bill was considered a “ fifth member of the KISS” as Paul called him, no one really tried to get him some help like rehab or something, and they just fired him like that ? I understand the band had to survive, but still, someone who’s been with the band through thick and thin deserved much much more than just letting go, at least a try to help.

I’m listening to about half point on this video where Paul complains about Gene slacking off and abandoning KISS in the mid 80s. I am wondering if some of the band’s greatest blunders - The 1978 Phantom movie, “The Elder”, “Dynasty” and “Unmasked” being lightweight albums - were not mainly Gene’s fault?

Without a doubt Paul's 1st solo album is the best out of the 4 kiss albums

Paul is living proof that money can't buy happiness because he was by far the most insecure of the quartet. Yet he has claims to have an "Aura" LOL

I"m not even a Kiss fan and these are fun. As a singer-songwriter myself, I have learned to respect your writing a little Paul. Hard Luck Woman and Sure Know Something are well written. Ace seems cool too. Gene is absolutely USELESS musically, including his monotone voice. Peter seems an accidental lottery winner. It's clear you were the glue and workhorse Paul, as best illustrated by the best Kiss songs
