Nvidia shield controller problem

My controller is not responding.It can't be turn off and paired after the update.I let the battery drain to zero,charged it and then the controller immidiently on and can't turn off

I talked to nvidia and if your controller fails during the update and doesn't work after its dead forever. send it in with the receipt and they send you a new one.

Try this everyone hold left round button down and green button on top same time for few seconds and light will flash👍

I'll tell what worked for me. Put finger on green button and hold the analog button down until the controller resets. Paired the controller.

i had same issue after after factory reset controllers refused to connect, then i connected it via micro usb cable from controller to shield and it worked .

I have nearly the same problem. I think there must be a problem with the connection between the "touch board" and the "Mainboard" inside the controller. When you pull a littlebit on the cable connected to the "touch board" it seems to work.
But I don't know how to fix this problem.

Is it me, or is everything getting worse. Nvidia can't even pull it together pairing a Bluetooth device anymore. TRASH BIN shit. I use to praise this stuff but they can't even program a user interface anymore.

1) Make sure your not hard wired (be on WIFI)
2) Hold down the green triangle for 15 seconds to reset the controller
3) Restart Nvidia shield
4) Pair like normal.

On the tablet I believe you have to go to where you're going to activate your controller first then hit that button

The touch part is the problem gently open the controller and let your screwdriver touch that chip responsible for that touchscreen area. It will start working again. However you have to do it once in a while.

Sorry for the late reply. But I had the same problem and I had to return the old one. They sent me a new one just today. You can just contact Nvidia support.
