Apparently, the reliability has greatly improved since the 2020 model year. Many owners of recent Giulias are reporting very few issues and relatively high reliability.

My 2017 has been totally reliable following a simple software update after purchase. Excellent cars.

My car is currently at 11k miles, and no issue. Currently held at Yokohama bay as I just imported from US. May be reliability is something to do with drive frequency. This is my 2nd 2017 QV, and I don't have anything bad to say about it. I really don't see any better 4door cars in current market.

I've had one for 3 years and it's the best car I've ever owned.
Unfortunately, tomorrow is my last day with it as I let her go to move on to a Porsche 911.
But in the future I think I'll circle back and buy a giuilia QV for the garage, it's an amazing car and a future collectible.

I also have a 2018 Giulia Quadrifoglio. I have had absolutely NO issues.
Please note that all high-performance cars depreciiate similarly. Thi=uas I am kind of surpsed with your reasning. Please read oweners reviews and you will find that the QVs are quite reliable, especially compared to the high performance models from Porsche, BMW, Audsi, Mercedes. None of the later are as relaible as to Toyotas or Subarus. Keep enjoying your QV.

Funny how all these people are talking about reliability after 60k miles but when you talk about real reliable car, you talk about after 100k

2018 Stelvio Quad with twin turbo failure at about 40K. No other major issues. Had them replaced under warranty. Still love the car, drive is unbelievable.

I think you meant to say accessory belt. The Giulia Quad does not have a timing belt. Very uncommon problem to break though. This is the first time I've heard of an accessory belt breaking. I have 2018 as well and visit the Giulia forums daily. Per chance, was the belt not changed at the maintenance interval (60, 000 km or 4 years, which ever comes first)?

I am an Alfaholic I own a 91 Spider (sublime) a 2017 Stelvio and a 2019 Quadrifoglio. They have all been fantastic Vis a Vis dependability. Do the regular maintenance and this brand is every bit as dependable a any other brand. I wish I had a dollar for every Mercedes or BMW I have seen cruising by on the back of of a tow truck in the last several years. You like driving??? buy an Alfa you will never regret it!! Every time I start the engine of anyone I smile like a Cheshire cat. MEOOOW

I have a 4c spider since 2019, no issue and good reliability. I’ve bought a Giulia QV 7 months ago, it’s a fantastic car. It seems to have a good reliability.

I would still love to have one! Too bad we have terrible taxes here in our country since this car isn't offered yet by dealers here and being sold only via grey market.

I think if buying used understanding the cars history and common errors are key. I have 20k on mine and other than maintenance it has been great. Understanding that maintenance is key I think is the most important part of owning these cars. I do my oil changes at 5k and belts at 30k.

You are soooo lucky that drive this car. But then again money makes it possible.
I must be honest. If I had money, this would be a no-brainer. This car is not cheap. But worth it.

I have had three Alfa romeos. I had 2017 Giulia quad, then 2019 Stelvio 2.0 and then agains 2023 Giulia quad Total of 100K miles on these three cars not even a single trip to the dealer for any repairs.
