Kelt-9b is the hottest exoplanet ever found! It has an average temperature of 4,300°C (7,800°F). This is so hot that molecules break down on the daytime side of the planet! The molecules only reform when nighttime arrives and the temperature cools.

if i remember right, it orbits really close to a pulsar, doesn't it? that'd explain why it's so hot

how do you know? literally anything can be made up about space but none of us can prove it to be true.
