So true! St. Paddy's Day and I decided to get drunk in an Italian place. They had beer. It's inspiring what a couple six-packs of Miller Lite can do in all situations. Thank God I didn't smoke on the sidewalk and offer the guy a Miller Lite. So years ago! Or light the filter end. I trust this means that Ireland and we are safe to have faith in spite of ourselves.

I read somewhere that blue really was the traditional color for celebrating St. Patrick's Day. It only changed as a statement Irela d was making against Britain. But I don't know the details. That might not even be true; just something I read somewhere once.
