Let's talk about the DOUBLE BANNER | Reverse: 1999

These are my personal take on the double banners. While they are for most part, not as good as a targeted banner, they are somewhat benifitial to the new players, assuming they use it correct.

I like that the pulls were reduced to 8 pulls for the first three. It still hurts that the pity doesn't carry over. I looked at the news for 1.8 and they are doing it again with Shamane and Spathodea! However they are doing the 8 pulls thing again which is nice.

I did pull for the first three 8's and got 6 and Jessica. I know that won't be everyone's luck though. 1.8 is looking to be great, I just hope the story is good.

oh that i remember when i start reverse, i dont know much auch double banner, i choose pull them. centurion and tooth fairy at same time in 20x pull x3

If we ever catch up to CN, I doubt they'd continue with this. Looking at Global revenue, I do understand why they're doing double banners to try and ferment FOMO, and thus, get people to spend more than they should. Plus, I think they're also trying to get people to spend on new banners as we know they most likely won't get solo re-runs in the future.

Since I love this game, and want it to survive, I will tolerate these double banners.

I am an old player in reverse 1999 (1.0 old player) and there was this banner with many characters but divided into three sections. The way the banner worked is that all the three sections contain 5 characters in each of them and if you hit pity (which was at 50) then you'll win one section. You can pick whatever character was in that section. It's good on paper, and in my personal opinion it was great, the only thing I thought sucked was that there's a 30% chance to get the section you wanted and I wanted Druvis, sadly I didn't get the section she was in😞

I did pull in the banner I was aiming for Jessica but unfortunately lost to tooth fairy then continued pulling till I lucky won the 50/50 for Jessica
I don't regret getting tooth fairy and I didn't mind losing for 37 either
But what I hate about this banner is that building pity for the next banner doesn't work

I just casually did a single 10 pull and surprised by the results. I got both a 37 (which I don't have) and Sotheby (which I don't have but wanted to get for Jessica)

In my perspective, it is not bad just need some luck for that guarantee banner you want. I did around 60pull to get 37 well I'm happy about that since i want her bcz i missed her banner. In another you'll most likely got both, like someone else. And yeah it depends on your luck.

honestly its good. spent 3*8 and got 2 jessica. i never had plant dps before + potrayals on 37 are good so its not that bad

A question, the double banner for 1.8 was already released, I want Spathodea but Im not too excited for Shamane, because I already pulled Isolde. I also want to select 6 on the choice banner because I got Marcus, I want Lucy and Kakania too, should I try to get Spathodea?

I have a question to ask and an opinion to share but before that i will say i love reverse 1999, the game is great but doesn't mean i will ignore the racism and greedyness that the company bluepotch is showing the question is dose the pity from one double banner carry on to another double banner ? Now my opinion which is blue potch is greedy as hell because just how much money do they possibly need to create something such as a true limited banner thats greedy as hell

I’m praying since Spath/Shamane are Yearning of the Water for 1.8, we see 6 after An’an-Lee 🥹🥹🥹 I have like 50 pity built up
