I do differ on you on your second point. It is perfectly fine for sisters and daughters to care for the men in their family, however there is also a lot of abuse. In many families, sons are allowed to order their sisters around and can’t even put their own clothes in the laundry. They literally do nothing inside the house. When dinner is ready they are called. They come, eat and leave with their plates left on the table. I recall a scholar who had criticized this behavior of men saying in Ramadan, the sehri call should be made to the women so they can get up early and get sehri ready for the men. The men can still sleep until everything is laid out for them. These injustices are done by the mothers. There is no need to raise sons as idiots. Islam does not promote this idleness. Denying this abuse is unjust.
