Federer should lay the gauntlet. He is a source of frustration and agony for his fans because of his fault ridden game. At 39 he can keep playing for fun but not in tournaments, which will keep his image intact. If he keeps competing and losing he will tarnish his image.

Roger is the victim of his emotions. He feels that winning at his age is a rarity and when at the crux of closing a win he goes into a Zombie state. Extremely frustrating for his fans who once in a while see a trickle of his great past.
