That broad white stripe is the officials area. No player, coaches, etc, are allowed. Especially during a live play. It's something learned in Pee Wee. It's why you have the infamous "git back" coach.

It also isn't the reason Georgia lost. Fumbles, kick returns and poor left tackle play is why.
