2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic
1 lemon zest and juice
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 lbs spaghetti
Finish with parmesan cheese (optional)
Pasta water and salt to taste

My parents met at the fish market restaurant in Alexandria VA in the 80’s and still make their fave recipe from there that is very similar to this one. Only difference is they cook scallops and shrimp in the olive oil at the beginning and then finish it by adding a pint of heavy whipping cream at the end. Insanely easy and good.
