Donating a kidney

Deciding to become a kidney donor can be filled with mixed emotions and questions. When Jeff decided to donate his kidney to his sister, his first priority was on her and then himself. He realized he needed to learn more about a donor's experiences but soon discovered a lack of information available. Doctors said his life would be no different, but how can that be when his sister would be experiencing so many life altering changes! He soon learned it was true and his life didn't change. Jeff decided to write a book about his experience and has trained to become a Peer Mentor to help others considering donation.
