Business suggestion - once your backlog gets to be 6 months or more then begin to raise your rates until you have 3 months backlog. You're worth it.

Watch this channel to see the dead brought back to life! Elin, you have great courage, taking on that chimera. Wishing you lots of luck and patience on this project. 🧡

Wow! That FrankenTriumph sure is a challenge! I have every faith that you will be able to turn this monster into a beauty. But oh my!

This TR6 will be qn interesting project! That car's frame is in amazingly good condition... and the parts of the body no one has tried to "repair" look pretty good too!
Yes, Elin, we have Canada geese here in the US... and that's what we call them.
In fact, they nest here in the San Franciaco Bay Area. For many years, every morning flocks of 50 to 100 would fly low over my house, honking loudly. I never needed an alarm clock!
In the morning they were heading from several ponds to the south of me, up to their feeding areas further north. Every evening they would commute back to the ponds where they spent the night. I always enjoyed seeing them.
But now there are very few... only two or three lomely birds and they may only fly over once a week or so.
The geese's feeding habits were a problem. They love golf courses to hunt for food! But golfers don't love the birds honking during putts and back swings, pooping all over the greens, and sometimes even aggressively confronting golfers who get to lo close.
So the "green new deal" state of California with all its environmentalism sends out game wardens every year to the birds' nesting area, where they gather all the geese's eggs, soak them in oil to suffocate the embryos, then return the eggs to the nest where they'll never hatch. The Canada Goose population here has gone from hundreds to almost none.
All so that some golfers don't have to deal with them!

I like engine rebuilds. There are enough new issues to keep me learning

Nice assessment. This is more or less a blank slate and you can do whatever you like so long as you're not dead set on keeping everything original - which it looks like that that ship has sailed.

This is what it looks like when a British Johnny Cash brought a Triumph home bit by bit.

That car is more than I'd be willing to tackle, but that doesn't mean it's not worth saving. I'm looking forward to some interesting and educational videos as you bring this car body back to life.

This sure is going to be a lot of work and much of it frustrating but also fun and rewarding when it is finished. It looks harder to do than Chef Tush’s latest TR3 project. Elin, you sure have no shortage of people showing up at your door.

Lord, that thing is hacked together! It must be a different frame also- with the new front end on it the frame was probably bent badly. Good luck with that one...

Hi Elin, my suggestion for this would be to try to find a good bare front clip from the A post and replace it. Keep the existong floors as a starting point. Way less work ans garanteed results. I know tou prefer to repair what you have but time …. Or if you prefer you could find good inner wheel and start from there. Good luck and have fun.

Yes the GT6 needs some love!! Even if you just give an hour or two every week it is progress. That TR6 frame is in great shape compared to the one under my 70 TR6. I also will get started on it once the other projects get taken care of first!

Those bent gussets by the fuel tank are because of speakers. Those corners are ideal to mount speakers, if only the gussets weren’t in the way, so they just cut and bend them out of the way! Seen it several times. Watching you do this large of a project with such a misalignment makes me think. I’m intending replacing the firewall/bulkhead that was cut out of mine to fit a V8. Perhaps you should come have a vacation in San Diego and do mine?!

Good project should be fun...hopefully not frustrating, but i think a full measurement of the frame alignment will identify any areas of concern.

Here in the states, we do call them “Canadian Geese.” I assumed they were just “Geese” in Canada. 🙂

Time to find the plumb bob eh? The shop floor is a great layout table. Good luck and I know you'll figure it out. I use a laser Ruler and once I get corner to corner on the Chassis it sets the distance standard. Then on to a laser level and find height. ↕↔
