My son had to wear his crocs for an entire 41 mile backpacking trip. He brought them as camp shoes and only realized he forgot his hiking boots after we drove 2 hours to the trailhead. We weren’t sure the crocs (or his feet) would make it, but after a 5 day hike with lots of rain, water crossings, and a snowfield, he and the crocs were just fine.
You can still call crocs idiot shoes though, since he was an idiot for forgetting his boots.

I wear steel toe boots all day the day I purchased my crocs with a little fur in the inside was a game changer the sense of relief I feel when I slip those on after my shift is amazing people make fun of me for wearing them but I like being comfortable

Funniest thing is that the symmetrical one is Sometimes more comfortable for me cuz my middle toe is longer than my big toe

I knocked em for years and years. Hurt my foot 6 months ago and got a pair as I needed comfy big shoes and I couldn’t recommend them more…after a couple months of daily wear I noticed my toes spread out and my foot even grew another half a size

My biggest problem with crocs is walking on wet surfaces. They were originally supposed to be a water shoe but as soon as there's a wet surface I start sliding.

I love it when shoes are actually the shape of a foot, since my second toe sticks up and literally crosses over onto my big toe because of “symmetrical shoes”

They actually were used in the movie "Idiocracy" because the production thought nobody would wear these dumb shoes irl. Then crocs popularity blew up and the rest is history.

A lot of hospital staff, here in Zambia, prefer to wear Crocs because they are comfortable to wear for very long hours. They are also much more quieter than regular shoes which helps staff walk around patients without disturbing them.

i bought a pair of crocs at the start of uni and use em every single day till now when i have finished uni, they hold up extremely well!
