I called the police when a brand new $600 dollar tool was stolen from my truck at a gas station. The Gas station owner showed me the video footage and it showed two guys take it and put it in their car and drive off, their license plate was visible. When the police came, they treated me as the criminal. They wanted to see my driver license, insurance and registration. I told them about the video, but they didn't even bother to go inside to take a look. I guess it would be pointless to call the police next time as an hour or so of my life was wasted and treated as the criminal when something was stolen from me. I will be breaking legs if I ever catch anyone next time doing that. It seems like police officers' job nowadays is to give out tickets to make money for cities instead of actually investigating and protecting the people from criminals.

I felt the police was hoping my car was not registered or any other reason to steal my truck so the city can auction it off plus all my tools in the truck

10, 000 car burglaries in 9 months in Oakland is a disgrace.

Unbelievable. We are actually living in a world here where criminals are treated with more leniency than law-abiding citizens. It's other-worldly. People are starting to wake up and paying attention, but we're not anywhere near people waking up yet.

Horrifying criminals have more rights than tax payers. Set up traps and catch people!

So the cops won’t stop “known fencing operations”, but they will issue parking tickets?

Time for citizens to go Batman on these criminals. This is unacceptable.

These people needs to be arrested for 25+ years. They are breaking peoples windows just to see if they have anything in the trunk and then they break the other window and take the goods. The amount of trauma it causes individuals is staggering. Who knows how many windows they break on a daily basis, imagine all the people effected.

Justin should get the $100, 000 reward. He tracked the stolen goods to the fencing house and reported them. The fact that they aren't paying out or even going over there to try and retrieve the goods says everything about SF.

I think it’s time the citizens take justice into their hands. This is ridiculous!

When public employees refuse to answer to citizens, they need to be replaced.

Are we sure that Police Dept isn’t in on this? For that to be RIGHT THERE and they continue to do nothing is baffling.

Justin should demand the $100, 000 reward because he has information that should lead to an arrest. He should find a lawyer willing to sue the city.

Zero accountability; vigilante justice required.

Face reality... city and government officials DO NOT CARE. Actions speak louder than words.

People need to just take justice into their own hands
