After Effects Tutorial - HUD Animation

A head-up display also known as HUD animation is the method by which information is visually relayed to the player as a part of a game's user interface. Hud animations are not only used to display information but they play a very important part in making the UI look more complex and futuristic.

So today we will learn how to create a dynamic hud animation in after effects without using any plugins we will build up our design by using old shape layers!

Just now found this channel, you’re freakin awesome man! Quick tip, AE 2023 doesn’t have the same “Track Matte” options as before… if you select Layer 9, change the mode to “Silhouette Alpha” and you should get the same effect at 9:55
