12 Things To Be Aware Of When Buying Land - Things To Consider When Buying Land

One year ago we purchased 35 acres of land in the mountains of Colorado. There were a handful of things we wish we would have known prior to purchasing our lot. In this video, I go over 12 things to consider when buying land. These are items you definitely want to be made aware of prior to purchasing land. Specifically I am talking about raw, unimproved land.

We primarily use our land to camp on. It is zoned as agriculture land. We do not have power, utilities, water, or sewer on the property. In the future, we would like to build a small off-grid cabin. We have really enjoyed our property thus far! Please check out some of my other land videos here:

Hey Brian .... Great video and info to know before you jump in and pull the trigger on some property, another one to consider is a HOA that exist where you buy . We have one here and they are pretty shady . If i did it again buying property i would do so without HOA . OK my 2 cents ....Have a good summer up there !!

Good info. What tires are you running on your truck?? Getting setup to go do some camping for a month or so. Driving a Dodge Ram Dully with a 35' travel trailer 😃😃. So I'm putting ALL NEW TIRES and Spares on both vehicles . I'm down to crosstex2 or Nitto Grappler G2. ?? Have a BLESSED Day.

Reagrding the water. Do you need a permit if you are going to have a truck bring you water? I am planning on buying some land in that area. I just have so many concerns.

Does any of the websites you recommended allow rent to own pieces of land that can be allowed a section 8 voucher to transfer with deposit to buy property?
