The grand jury hearing evidence about Donald Trump and his allies’ alleged interference in the 2020 election is meeting ahead of a potential vote to indict the former president. If convicted of 18 U.S. Code § 2383 - Rebellion or insurrection, he can't hold public office.
"Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, *or gives aid or comfort thereto*, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

This two-tiered justice system must desist. Anybody else charged with crimes of this magnitude would be in jail pending trial.

Accountability needs to be shown! If trump isn't held accountable for the viscous attempted coup on our government, someone else will learn from trump's failures and try it again.
