Finally a helpful post - however mine was set to share with contacts except for so I made it share with all contacts but still not sending

UPDATE: I have tested in three iPhones, one of them was working fine before updating to latest version of whatsapp. After changing the privacy setting for status to "My Contacts", tap on refresh icon or delete existing status updates and upload fresh one. it will definitely work. I have tested it couple of times again and confirming it. Thank you.

I migrated to iOS (iPhone XR) the day before yesterday and since then, my WhatsApp status videos or those of others do not give sound.
