One of the greatest enigmas in music. These guys should have made it big but never did. Maybe them not making it big is part of their charm? Such a great band.

Melvins. The band for real human beings.

To me, the principle miracle of the Melvins, after Dale's incredible drumming, and Buzz uncanny songwriting, is his ability to memorize all that word salad of his lyrics.

One of the only bands on earth that can sound totally sloppy and tight as hell at the same time. Their live shows are the shit.

The Melvins are quite good at playing the rock and roll music.

That aluminum flying v bass is one of the sickest things I've ever seen.

The greatest and hardest working American rock and roll band since Cheap Trick. Constantly on the road and putting out records, for themselves first, and us if we want in. Gotta love this.

The Melvins are the Rodney Dangerfield of Rock-n-Roll. They don’t get the respect they deserve!

Hardest working band in the world. Unbelievable, never lost a watt in energy since the eighties

I've had the pleasure of seeing the Melvins at least a dozen times over the years and they are consistently weird and heavy and awesome.

Dirty sound, low heavy disorted amps, crude vocal harmonies... This music is all over the place and i fucking love it.

I dare say this is one of the best line ups the Melvins have ever had.

Two bass guitars shouldn't work, yet they're like "mate, we're the fuckin' Melvins!" and then it totally does! So much love to them. It's mind blowing how consistent and relevant they are even now. I swear they just get stronger and more amazing all the time. Their best stuff has been all in the last 10 years or even 5 years. That should defy all conventionally held logic yet the Melvins are still one of the finest acts on the planet. I HAVE to see them before I perish for good.
