What's EASIER? MILKING a MINI COW or FULL SIZED COW?

If you are looking for a family milk cow, what is easier to milk? A mini cow like a Mini Jersey, Dexter, Devon, etc, or a standard full sized cow like a Holstien, Guernsey, Jersey, etc?

There is Mini mid and full and all go by height. The small breads are usually used for pets and breeding

Those mini cows are adorable. They might be hard to milk, but they seem to make great pets.

I think the Guernsey is easier to milk because you don't have to crouch as much to put the milker on. Is fancy pregnant?or what do you breed her too?

Do you keep your milk separate 3 different tanks or milk all 3 into the same tank? We always did milking by hand and my dad said never mix the milk because if one is off 1 cow can spoil the whole lot. We kept each bucket separate.

I'll bet the milker could be protected from the floor by a clean plastic bin/tray. You can set the tray down on the ground first when installing and uninstalling it

Question…What do you do with all that milk? I know here in Mississippi there is STRICK REGULATIONS on what and how you can sell raw milk or anything from your farm for that matter!!! Mississippi seems to enjoy having people in poverty because they make it IMPOSSIBLE to run a farm and make a living off your farm!! I’m originally from Louisiana but I moved here almost four years ago and this place isn’t fun nor easy to live here with the corrupt government system here, so I’ll have a big battle ahead of me with my farm because I REFUSE to take anything laying down I will fight for the changes here beings everyone else just takes whatever they dish out but im not the one Im a Christian woman but not a doormat for the enemy either. I will fight for changes here. But im just curious if in your state they run y’all to the ground there too and what you do with all the milk your cows are producing? Thanks in advance God Bless

Raising a mini cow is more economical than a full size cow, but unless you got some unique milking equipment, milking mini cows is a physical challenge.
