sure these things are new, but that doesn't make it any less of an instrument.

That was pretty cool, I must admit.It would be a cool thing just to mess with on down time and when you get completely bored.And for the people that complain about it because it looks like a guitar.Do some research on it, it is only shaped like a guitar, nothing more in common really.
And thanks to all the other people that have pretty much covered the same things I have put here as well.

If you would've read the info in the video that the ones that put up, you would've seen this:

PLEASE NOTE: that "crackling" some people are pointing out is an effect, like a bit crusher effect. It was done on purpose to show how the location of your touch effects the sound. You can apply any control parameter you want to each axis of the touch screen. This instrument is not limited to one type of effect. I personally like the sound, but it is subjective like all music is.

This still takes skill to use aswell. The guy playing this is still playing with in A minor. It's literally guitar combined with a synth/Dj figure pad(Forgot what those were called).
Still very bad ass, and hoping people would use it right in future music.

As far as I am concerned if you cannot see how amazingly amazing this object is, you are actually some sort of artifically constructed life form, like a golem or a homunculus, and should not be afforded basic human rights because of it.

@BeenieBomb I never said that you couldn't!!! I only meant that people should be more open minded. People should never assume that this device was meant to replace traditional guitars. It's just an interesting alternative, that's it. Don't bash it right from the start just because it's different.

Digital music is about taking sounds/notes and changing their characteristics to make brand new sounds/notes. For that, this digital guitar is superior to an electric guitar; it's not intended to replace electric guitars.

And digital music is serious music, just a different taste.

It's a digital guitar, i'm sure you can change the sound to whatever you want, it'd be fun to mess with that's for sure.
