Google Firebase Database based 4 Channel Relay Control(IoT Project)
This project is all about how to control a relay using the google firebase database and Android app. How to make an android app using MIT App Inventor(STEP by STEP).
so that you can make some awesome Projects like:
#1. Google Firebase-based Home Automation.
#2. Controlling robots over the Internet.
#3. Controlling AC voltage over the Internet.
#4. and many more projects like this which you want to
control over the internet
So this tutorial is having three parts.
PART 1: Setting Google Firebase Database.
PART 2: Android App Making using MIT App Inventor(STEP by STEP).
PART 3: Hardware Section.
Hardware Requirements:
# Node MCU.
# 4 Channel Relay.
# 5v Supply.
This Video covers PART 1 and PART 2 in which We will learn
# How to set up the Google Firebase database for the Android App.
# How to make Android App using MIT App Inventor(STEP by STEP)
How it works:
Whenever we click a button on the Android app, the App will update the variable value in the firebase database. And in the hardware side, NodeMCU will be checking the variable value of the firebase database. Whenever the Node MCU gets the variable value of "1" it triggers the relay to turn ON by providing a LOW voltage at the Arduino PIN and whenever it finds the variable value as "0" it
triggers the relay to turn OFF by providing a HIGH voltage(5v)
value at the Arduino PIN.
