Animal behaviorist here! If medical issues are ruled out and the vet says it's anxiety or something of that nature try ruling more things out to find the cause. It could be her being picky about a dirty litter box, not enough litter boxes, not enough scent soakers, and you could try things like calming collars or feliway plugs

I feel your pain. My cat was having litter box issues and I took him to the vet. Bloodwork, urine analysis, images and a visit to a specialist later, we finally found out what was wrong with him.

Turns out the little beast wasn't drinking enough water, so peeing hurt and he was trying new places to see if it wouldn't hurt going there. I have THREE water fountains around the place and a couple of water bowls that are cleaned and refilled daily available to him 24/7.

I fixed the issue adding water to his regular food. He won't drink water, but will lap up a cat food soup like it's ambrosia. No more litter box accidents.

Hi, vet nurse here. Their could be some litter guarding I would recommend adding an additional litter for her to use. Since you have two cats their should be 2 -3 litter trays. No matter how clean they are kept

My old cat would do that whenever he was upset with my parents, it’s just an annoying behavior issue. I wish I could recommend how to fix it, but our cat didn’t care when we tried to stop him.

A few things to try:
- have another litter just for her
- close the litter
- check when she does it, there might be something that stresses her in those moments or around them
- make sure she's not stressed when eating / going to the litter
- check how your cats are doing when you're going to sleep, is Banana able to go where she wants? Is she unhappy about something?
- make sure she's not getting bullied in some ways

Banana's so cute! Maybe she wants her own litter box? Vets usually advise having an extra litter box to to the total # of cats one has. On the brighter side, at least she doesn't mark everywhere! >.<

My kitten was doing the same. My solution was to clean the litter box two times a day to make sure it’s squeaky clean and have a total of 4 litter boxes at home 😭. I have two kittens too and they are brothers so it was kinda shocking to me when she started peeing on the bed, I think it was mostly stress and territorial issues with her brother. I also noticed that when she tried to pee then her brother would interrupt and she would end up holding it and peeing on the bed so I had to take her to the litter box at the times she would usually pee and then give her a treat if she peed. I hope Banana stops doing this after you make her more comfortable.

That's why I always, had a supply puppy pads.
If, I was going to be gone for a few hours, I would put the pads on my sofa, my recliner, my bed and the corners on my carpet.
Just to be safe.

Keep your litter box CLEAN!!! With multiple cats, you need a larger box that you clean out twice a day or have multiple litter boxes. If these two are already checked out, then hopefully Banana grows out it.

Agree with each cat having their own liter box. Keep them in different areas too. Clean them every time they go . Lastly, try another type of litter in Bananas box. Cats are picky. Put the litter box in your bedroom for a while too.

Oh my🙈 so sorry. When I finally understood just HOW much stress, separation and changes impact cats, our vet visits and bills were reduced. ❤And I have to say it helped us humans aswell, to cherish the calm and harmony at home more❤ win win😊😊❤

It happened to me too. My senior cat was 15 yrs old at that time when I brought home 2 other cats. I knew it was a behavioral problem bc of the 2 new addition. He even peed on me right after I showered and washed my hair and blew dried my hair. Took him to the vet the Dr said the same day that it's behavioral. But days on end he peed outside the box so I 'invested' on a lot of pee pads and lined my whole room and bed with it. Later he was actually diagnosed with lump in his intestine and then there was a lump in his bladder. So he couldn't pee at times then he would pee blood. He lived up to 20 yrs. Still miss him everyday.

If you don’t already have one, you should get a waterproof encasement for your mattress. It will drastically extend the life of your mattress by protecting it from everything. The encasement is also 10000x easier to clean than the mattress, literally just chuck it in the washing machine. You should also look into pet insurance. Ask your vet which ones they work with, that can save you a ton of money.
