Got my trail boss 2 weeks ago - absolutely love it! If you're on the edge about getting one, do it! I took mine on the beach and some trails a week in and it rips.

Just an FYI you only need a 2 inch lift to fit 35" tires on standard chevy silverados....the trailboss should already be able to fit 35's from the factory since they come stock wtih a 2 inch lift but for some reason GM thinks that people want a smaller 32 inch tire. I plan on lifting my LTZ silverado 3 inches with a BDS lift and fitting 35's instead of my 33's that came on the truck

5 inch? Are you sure it's not 6inch? Bds only does 4 and 6 from I've seen

20's are the smallest you can go with the lift knuckles.

This is probably a decent truck... On stilts. 😆 The lift does give these trucks a more aggressive presence though; a cool look. The available 6.2 V8 is a monster, but this smaller 5.3 should get better MPG - I would think. These pickup videos are quite addictive (and interesting) - an instant like & watch from me, lol!

It should have plenty power for 35's.my 2000 5.3 pushes 35's just fine.untill I pull a trailer then we are lil under powered.

Is it a 6” lift over top of the factory 2” lift? Or added together is a 6”???
