So great to hear you talk about your designs, which are all lovely. As an older woman I would have to modify to carry them off but I could certainly see me knitting them as is for my very knit worthy daughter-in-law!

What an enjoyable podcast, I must go back and watch Episode 1. It did make me giggle, though, when you moved straight from talking about your hair to saying "I do have knits to talk about, too." It took me a moment to reassure myself it was knits with a k!

I have used poundland acrylic held with drops mohair for hats + mittens + it really does create a luxurious looking knit. I saw a YouTuber hold mohair with acrylic + was so inspired by the result I had to jump on the train!

I find it so interesting that beginner patterns often involve seaming! I find seaming to be complicated and I always mess it up so I try to stick with sweaters that are mostly knit in the round, either top down or bottom up 😂

Hello Lily, I love all of your knitware.
That pink one with those sleeves, they are magical.😻
I don’t be on ravelry or instagram so I don’t know if you have a name for it.
But I saw that pink candle behind you and tought, you can name it: pink candle.😁

When I finish my knitwork and I don’t have anything else than I make a jigsaw puzzle.
In one day, and than I have yarn and an idea for an other project.😁
I have a lot of stash of rest yarn and try to make sweaters and cardigans with it.

Little Miss Priss could be the name of your glorious pink jumper. You're an extremely talented designer and I'm hoping to be able to knit your creations at some point. (I'm a beginning knitter.)

Love your videos. I adore my be thankful cardigan but made it with a strand of mohair so its very autumn/winter! I bought some gorgeous mustard wool in Scotland in October and its only just occurred to me that it would be the perfect more all year round cardigan 😍 I might try make it a little longer but will need to figure out proportions for the button band.

Hello Lily, I had to laugh when you talked about being somewhat “unsettled” not knitting to do. My work colleague and I older women and are relatively new knitters and we take our knitting when we travel to work meetings taking turns to drive so one can knit. I started taking my knitting to these staff monthly meetings got some strange looks the first time but they’re used to it now and are interested what’s on my needles. Maybe others will become interested in this lovely craft. In a way it keeps me from talking too much at the meetings so there are benefits for all 😂😂😂
