In this week’s Merch by Amazon update, I show you how we use the Merch Informer software to do our Merch by Amazon keyword research.

This software allows us to find micro niche markets that have a high demand in a particular type of design.

The Merch Informer software allows you to see exactly what kind of tshirts people are searching for, which completely takes the guesswork out of trying to figure out what designs to upload on your Merch by Amazon account.

If there’s a demand and if there’s not much competition, it’s basically a no brainer!

I feel like this software has already helped us increase our Merch by Amazon sales (I’ll share with you the exact numbers after using it for longer, so we can be sure the results are due to the use of this software)

The specifically shows you:

1. What search terms people are typing in to look for tshirt designs
2. Whether that search phrase is trademark safe (meaning you have the right to use it)
3. Competition score (whether there are too many other Merch by Amazon sellers with this design or not)
4. Average monthly sales for that design - anything above a 1 = use it!

Great video. You explain things very clearly. One thing I would note is that the Keyword Search is showing what people are typing into Google search and not Amazon. According to Neil that information is not released by Amazon.
