For anyone still wondering about the bear it is a real video he's a trained bear owner is Mikhail Koklyaev and his friend Tom the Bear. Also the reason it is so slow is because it was a training segment they call it "lollygagging".

I did a little bit of research. There’s a channel that investigates videos like this. They ended up reaching out to the original person who posted this video on Instagram. The bear was the man’s pet.

Makes sense. A Bear would not be running that slow. No way a human could keep that distance and pace. Especially in snow.

Unless the bear wasn’t really in pre-drive mode and instead just playing etc.

If anyone still wandering: That's a trained bear and u can tell the bear was running slowly because they can run upto 45 km/h

Bears can run WAY faster than that. If it was after the guy it wouldn't be like that

If it's Russian, some of them have bears as pets, so this could just be an owner running with his own pet. It looks like he's being chased, but maybe he's just trying to catch up to his owner.

Vfx artist here! Idk if it's real or not lol haven't looked too much into it but I want to address some things you mentioned in the video.

Why is the drone flying there?
Doesn't seem like such a weird thing to me, people fly drones around for fun all the time especially doing the kinds of zooming movements seen in the video. The bigger question is: why does the video cut off right there? Anyone with the slightest cameraman instinct would have immediately followed that scene to see what's going on - if not try to distract the bear with the drone and call the authorities to try to help.

Why is there blur on the guy and not the bear?
Really good point! But you got it the wrong way around. You've probably heard of motion blur, which is something that occurs when a camera is moving a lot or filming sonething that is moving fast. Both things are happening here; fast moving drone and man running, meaning there should be blur on the man! And you can see blur on the trees and stuff around him too. Now, I'm watching in my phone screen so I can't really tell but I think I saw some blur on the bear. However, if you're roght and there is none that would indicate that the bear might be cg.

I will say that the lighting on the bear looks good and is obstructed by the trees in a way that looks consistent to the light direction and tree placement.
And the shadow cast by the bear seems to blend nicely with the shadows cast by the trees(again, watching on my phone lol) which is really difficult to do.

Does this mean it's real? No. Just because something might not be vfx (this still might be, though I doubt it), doesn't mean it's real. Could be someone who works with trained bears or something pulling a prank. I think the fact that this video is hard to trace back to the source is proof enough. This would probably have been all over the local news if not international if it was real

Serious credit to you for finding the true answer to the bear one! It just shows how credible you and snopes are and how far you go to find the answer! So many people dismissed this bear video as cgi but being someone who is familiar with the industry, that is extremely difficult with the snow, shadows, and lighting in this clip. Anyways, love the video!
