See NEET is an exam which is not only for 12th appearing candidate which comes under code 1 of NEET
There are also code 2 for complete droppers like wise there are codes upto 7 like for graduates undergraduate doing a 3years couse like bsc or 4 years degree like BAMS and BDS
so NEET exam includes every one who is eligible to write this exam and it's eligibility is P/C/B/BIOTECH with English compulsory in +2
So it's not technically right to say that neet is just for 17years old kid who is just appearing they are just a part of neet they don't completely own neet exam
