My Dad taught law and he told me the taxes on booze were supposed to go to help the problems that were created by booze but instead they just keep the money for other things and ignore the reasons for the taxes in the first place, I am not hopefully that this tax will be any different.

That's why I shopped in Orange County. LA passed a homeless tax bill a few years back and here you are again with very little results, and another tax increase 😂

Even when they give money to homeless shelters where does the money go, i used to stay at a shelter in Hollywood and had horrible staff and staff eating food that's for residents. Too many problems. Im greatul im not homeless anymre but money isnt being used the right way.

You get fined 900$ for not having insurance. Insurance runs around 100$ and up. You don't qualify for government help if ypu make more than 1500$ and the average rent even in the ghetto is 2000$.
