People tend to forget that Superman has a high degree of intellect which allows him to be a genius tactician and a master strategist. Superman can think really fast, it is just usually when Batman is around Supes just gets overlooked or nerfed by Batman's writers

Unless iron Man had a suit that was capable of kryptonite blasts of energy Superman would win hands down.

Don't forget, Superman has a Kryptonite protection suit. So even if Ironman uses Kryptonite on Superman, it wont work. Only way for Ironman to beat Superman is to do what Batman does. Fight a Superman that doesn't want to fight. I remember Tony has a Readily Warping suit. That one might work against Superman in defeating him. But I don't read none of their comics so what do I know. I was going to say Superman could use his Phantom Projector on Ironman but Tony would just figure a way back anyways. Yeah, Superman verse are usually one-sided prep for his opponent. Superman don't get prep because he's sooo powerful. Because Superman don't get prep, people forget he has all these techs at his disposal also.

Any Marvel fan boy that knows anything about comics, knows that superman wins this hands down. It's not even close. I love Ironman and the mcu, but Tony isn't winning this without kryptonite. Ironman vs Batman would be a much closer and more fair matchup.

I don't think Iron Man can be anywhere close to Superman, unless he has kryptonite knowledge. He'll be blown to smithereens and probably along with the rest of the planet to a full power Superman. Plus, no one appreciates Superman's own impressive intellect.
