Exactly what I took away from Binance doing that. I will only ever buy privacy coin. One of the main points of crypto is to be decentralized and private. Non-private coin are not decentralized or private really anymore. All other coins are really just about USD now on the whole. The government and big corps have been gobbling up Bitcoin and other coins too.

Yes it has an "unlimited supply" but the rate it gets released is hard capped. Objectively speaking, as time goes on its annual inflation will for all intents and purposes, get to zero. They still find THOUSANDS of tonnes of gold every single year but the value isnt impacted in any meaningful way. So you could say since the beginning of time gold has had an unlimited supply since we have yet to stop finding it. Fiat inflation is done by percent, which causes exponential devaluation, monero is the exact opposite being a flat .6 xmr emission. There will always be incentive to mine, that payout will scale with the price of xmr, and it will have no impact on the price.

Monero mints 0.3 XMR per minute, while this is technically unlimited supply, this is not necessarily a bad thing as it means that miners will always have some incentive to mine (unlike BTC which will run into a huge issues as TX fees can't sustain miners), and since the supply grows linearly, the inflation rate will always fall (it's lower then the BTC inflation rate right now anyhow). Further, lost coins from lost wallets and errors in transactions (using the wrong address, losing the keys, etc.) are a probabilistic percentage, this means that with a fixed new coin supply each year, and a rough percentage of coin loss, at some point the inflation and deflation rates will balance and chase each-other meaning it will store value quite well and will probably outlive fixed supply coins like bitcoin. But Monero was designed as digital cash, not a digital gold anyway.

you dont know what youre talking about, XMRs tail emission means its supply is far lower than BTC right now and will be for 50 years, the tail emission of infinite supply is a moot point and exists to incentivize miners to stay alive.
