The holy grail for a band. Take a classic, and absolutely nail it. Make the listener listen back to the original and think, "This is actually better than the original".

This is as funky as synth-pop ever got, or a synthy as funk ever got. To paraphrase Bono, all this song is, is "Three chords and a groove". And HSCC is definitely in the pocket, especially the keyboard riff that goes through the whole song.
